With the upcoming Windows 7 the look of an icon and it’s “TAG” to your
brand recognition has just been increased ten fold. The windows quick
launch bar represents a major change in the foundation of the windows
operating system ui. An icon will define a program and give the brand
recognition that icons have always meant to do. Apples OS X has already
forced this on their users for years now.
Good or Bad? I think it’s a great time to start an icon/branding firm.
